Authorities are warning of an email scam involving an email alerting people that their Netflix accounts have been suspended.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the email’s subject line reads, “Your suspension notification,” and is accompanied by a Netflix logo. It then has a link to a fake Netflix page asking for credit card information.

Mailguard, a web security company, says the email scam first surfaced on Friday and looks “quite convincing.” The company urges users not to click on the email “without thinking first.”
