A helicopter crashed at the Riverside Municipal Airport on Thursday morning. Remarkably, the pilot escaped uninjured.
The 1983 Robinson R-2 crashed at about 9 a.m., reports KTLA. The pilot, the lone person in the helicopter was not hurt in what a Riverside Fire Department spokesman described as a “hard landing.”
The pilot of the two-seat helicopter was reportedly practicing take-offs and landings.
