Crews in Riverside successfully rescued a teenager from a freeway sign on Thursday night.
The teenager had, according to the CHP, jumped out of a car (not smart), climbed over a fence (even dumber), and then slipped and fell onto the sign (testing Darwin) at The La Sierra Overpass at about 11:30pm.
Rescue crews were able to get the teen onto a gurney and then lower him down to the ground. He was taken to the hospital with a back injury.
