Last week, a driver captured cellphone video which appears to show a big rig driver pushing the Toyota in front of it on the 91 Freeway in Yorba Linda.
“I came out of the car and looked and waved at him. ‘What’s wrong with you? Why are you pushing me?'”, the victim (who wished to only be identified as “Ray”) told ABC 7.
Ray says he felt hopeless and claims that the lift gate on the truck in front of him was the only thing keeping them from being crushed underneath. He said that his car suffered $4,000 worth of damage.
“What’s on my mind is that the driver of the truck had to be a little off his rocker,” said Bob, a witness in a nearby car who spoke with ABC 7 . “It was a clear case of road rage.”
Ray was able to get away and found a nearby CHP officer, who was handling a separate incident, and filed a complaint. The driver of the truck claims that he did not see the car.
“He just said, ‘I didn’t see you.’ That’s what he said,” said Ray.
CHP is investigating.
