A pursuit involving a ma suspected of robbing a Lake Elsinore business saw a pursuit in which the suspect tossed money from his vehicle.
The chase began after the man, who was not identified, fled from a business a little after 4 pm on Saturday with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the Press Enterprise.
After the robbery, police chased the man onto the 15 Freeway. During the pursuit, the man threw wads of cash from the car.
The pursuit ended when the suspect collided with another vehicle.
The suspect was hospitalized with suffered serious injuries. Police say he will most likely be arrested on suspicion of robbery.
There is no word on the condition of the other driver involved in the collision as they fled the scene. There is also no word on how much money was thrown or if any of it was recovered.
