Robolights which is, let’s be honest here, quite possibly the weirdest damn Christmas light display in North America, is back for another year of bringing joy / horror / confusion to Palm Springs.
Kenny Irwin, the artist behind Robolights, made the announcement that it was returning for 2017 with a Facebook post. The first night is Wednesday, November 22 and it will run through January 8.
Official ROBOLIGHTS announcement: It's the moment you have all been waiting for………………..ROBOLIGHTS will be open from November 22nd 2017 through January 8th 2018. 4-9:30 Daily, seven days a week.

Irwin, who also microwaves everything I want, has been inviting the public to see RoboLights since 1986 and has, during that time, faced numerous battles with neighbors and the city over important things like inflatable Godzillas.
No other details were announced but, if it’s like previous years, be sure to bring some cash for a donation – which is not required but really kind of feels like it’s required and helps pay for all those lights.
You can find Roblolights at 1077 E Granvia Valmonte in Palm Springs.
