A raid on a Thousand Palms home led to the arrest of two people Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department entered the home on Roseview Lane a little after 5 am. They discovered hundreds of rounds of ammunition and items related to the sales of narcotics, reports KESQ.
Three dogs “in need of immediate veterinary care” were also removed from the home and turned over to Riverside County Department of Animal Services.

Renee Messemore, 42, of Thousand Palms, was arrested on suspicion of felony animal cruelty and Daniel Valladares, 33, also of Thousand Palms, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, vandalism, possessing a controlled substance, vandalism and having an active felony warrant, according to the Desert Sun.
The Coachella Valley Narcotics Task Force had been investigating the residence for the past month.
