San Bernardino shooting: what you can do to help

Wednesday’s mass shooting rampage in San Bernardino left 14 people dead and 17 people injured. As authorities look for answers and we mourn for the victims and their families you may be inclined to want to help – which you can do by donating blood.

LifeStream blood bank is “urging local residents to give blood in order to assist the wounded being treated at local hospitals,” according to a news release.

The blood bank, which is headquartered in San Bernardino, provides blood products and services to Riverside County Regional Center in Moreno Valley, Loma Linda University Medical Center, and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, where emergency teams are assisting the wounded, the release says.

During trying times like these, many people feel helpless — but you don't have to. You can #donateblood and assist…
