The first full week of April has been brutal so far in the Coachella Valley, with temperatures hitting the mid to upper 90s. But, relief appears to be on the way – with cooler temps and even some rain (yes, rain!) coming our way.
Temperatures will cool down by 20 degrees on Thursday, with a 60% chance of afternoon and evening showers:

And while most of the rain looks like it will fall outside of the Coachella Valley, the chances of getting some of the wet stuff does look to be guaranteed – as it appears that KMIR’s weather guesser Ginger Jeffries got her car washed Wednesday:
