The second shooting this year at a Cathedral City bar has left one man hospitalized.
The shooting happened at about 11 am at the The Block Bar and Grill, located at Date Palm and Ramon, reports KESQ. Police arrived to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim’s wife told the TV station there was an altercation between her husband and four men – one of which shot him once in the hand and once in the chest.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20’s with a medium build. He was reportedly wearing a dark-colored jersey-type shirt.
There was no word on the victim’s condition.
In March, a shooting at The Block left two men injured. In June of 2016, a man was attacked and robbed in the parking lot of the bar. He fell into a coma and died in October.
