Next time you head to L.A., you will have a new option for some good times. Sure Los Angeles already has some great restaurants & bars, beaches, and (the 2016 World Series Champion Dodgers) – but starting in just a couple of weeks, it will also have a glass slide outside of a downtown skyscraper…a whopping 70 stories in the air!
Skyslide is coming to the US Bank building in June. As DTLA Explorer notes, it will be an outdoor glass slide 1,000 feet above the ground. The glass, which is clear, is 1.25″ thick, and extends from the building’s 70th floor down to the 69th floor’s and is 45 feet long. It is also OUTSIDE THE BUILDING!!
Tickets go on sale for Skyslide on Friday, March 18th. Admission is $25 to get to the 70th floor observation deck – with another 8 bucks to use the slide.
