The Press Enterprise called the show “lightly attended” and estimates about a thousand people came out for the $5 show, which is just a bit down from the 15,000 in attendance a couple years back for concerts by Kenny Rogers, Rick Springield, and Pat Benatar.
To be fair, those shows were free.
Also to be fair, those shows weren’t Smash Mouth.
