SoCal Dude Loses $1 Million Dollar Powerball Ticket

A guy in Rosemead is S.O.L. after lottery officials tracked him down, only to find out he lost a Powerball ticket worth over $1,000,000.

The winning ticket was sold at Rosemead Supermarket on September 13th. When no one came forward to claim the prize, lottery officials released surveillance video of the guy buying his winning ticket, hoping that the public would help track him down.

And it worked! The man came forward, only he was without the winning ticket.

Lottery officials responded accordingly…

The deadline to collect came and went Thursday night, so now all his prize money will go towards public schools in California. I am sure he is thrilled about that.
