Back to school time can be a stressful for college students. You have to spend way too much on books, registering for classes in an overcrowded campus can be an absolute nightmare, and finding a parking spot can be impossible – well, unless you are at Mesa College in San Diego.
The campus, which knows it does not have enough parking for its nearly 25,000 students, is offering free valet parking during the first two weeks of school for students.
“I think it’s pretty cool,” student Michelle Kim told the Union Tribune. “I got here around 10:30 and drove around for a few minutes. It was my first day in the new semester, so I was a little nervous I was going to be late to class. Then I found the valet service.”
Others tweeted their excitement:
mesa has free valet parking, i've never been this happy about parking in my lifeeee

The school is also working with Uber and promoting ridesharing and carpools to try to ease the parking problem.
As for the valet service, the school thinks it will cost about $10,000 – which they say is worth it because students sometimes drop out of college at the beginning of the semester out of frustration over parking.
