Not sure how the hell it happened, but it did.
Palm Desert’s El Paseo near Ocotillo had to be shut down for a couple of hours after a driver smacked into 2 large palm trees and knocked them into the road.

KESQ reports that the driver was not injured and there has been no information on what caused the crash.
