Donald Trump’s Hollywood star was destroyed early Wednesday morning by someone dressed as a city worker who took a sledgehammer and pickaxe to it.

The destruction of the star on Hollywood Boulevard happened about 5:45 am by a man looking to take the whole thing, reports Deadline:
Speaking to Deadline, the man said his name was Jamie Otis. He said he originally intended to remove Trump’s star completely to auction it off next month in New York to raise funds for the women who have recently come forward to accuse Trump of sexually assaulting them over the decades. In the past few months, 11 women have claimed the GOP POTUS candidate groped or otherwise attempt to get intimate with them. At a rally earlier this week, Trump told supporters the accusers were not telling the truth and that he would sue them after the November 8 election.
Otis was not not successful in removing the star, instead he just left it smashed to pieces.

This is not the first time during the election that someone has messed with Trump’s star this year- as earlier in 2016, someone built a wall around it, drew a swastika on it, and there was also the dog who pooped on it.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has said that despite all the attacks on the star, it’s staying.
