Perhaps you have heard of the new movie The Interview? (hacking, controversy, and constant news coverage did get the picture some recognition)
And just when you thought that you would have no chance of seeing it…boom! – it is coming to Palm Desert starting Christmas Day.
Cinemas Palme d’Or at The Westfield Mall in Palm Desert will begin showing the James Franco / Seth Rogan comedy beginning Christmas night (showtimes listed are 6:30 and 9:15).
And it being The Palme d’Or, you can have a beer in your seat while you watch!
So go see it and try not to constantly shout out “‘Murica” as you watch.
UPDATE: The Mary Pickford in Cat City and Camelot in Palm Springs will also be showing The Interview.
How about a true rock and roll station playing todays artists in the genre and not only classic rock. 93.7 use to kind of be that station, but when they let you go, they joined the ranks of classic rock playing what seems to only be the hair bands of the 80’s with some 70’s and early 90’s mixed in. Still can’t stand the replacement morning show which sucks completely. When I say 93.7 kind of was that rock station that played current music, I mean that they were about 6 months behind the large markets. I can remember living in Orange County in the late 80’s and listening to KNAC and then coming home and listening to the local rock station say “here’s is the debut new hit from X. Only that song they were playing had been out for about 6 to 8 months now and LA was already playing that groups 2nd or 3rd hit song from the album. 2 years ago, I was living in Vegas and it was nice to be able to listen to KOMP 92.3 which was the kind of radio station I would like to see here in the valley.
