Girl Scout Cookie Season begins next month (because you need yet another reason to buy snacks) and with it comes 3 new cookies.
God knows you have a friend or two who just can’t eat the evil gluten anymore (with apologies to those with Coeliac who stay away from the gluten for a reason other than to be trendy). The Girl Scouts know this, so they have created 2 new (awful) cookies to please their gluten-deprived palettes:
Toffee-tastics
Described as buttery cookies with toffee bits
Trios
These are made with real peanut butter, chocolate chips, and whole grain oats
There is also a new cookie with the gluten:
Rah-Rah Raisin
An oatmeal raisin cookie with whole grain oats, plump, juicy raisins, and Greek yogurt–flavored chunks.
But do not worry, as gross as these new “cookies” sound, old time favorites Thin Mints, Do-si-dos, and Samoas will return as well.
And remember, nothing (and I mean nothing) beats Thin Mints fresh out of the freezer. Nothing.
