Space Mountain at Disneyland is one of the greatest rides you will ever go on…just so long as the lights stay off.
The Tomorrowland attraction is great for so many reasons, including:
- It is completely indoors (great for those hot Anaheim summers days)
- It has cool sound effects
- You get to see a picture of you riding it on your way out
- It is completely in the dark
And we should all be thankful for that last one as, thanks to Redditor chrono1465, we now know what Space Mountain looks like with the lights on – and it is not nearly as cool.
That it is definitely not nearly as Fast Pass worthy. Let’s make sure the lights never go on again.
