Sports Authority is closing all of its stores around the country.
The sporting goods retailer, which has a location at the Desert Crossing Center in Palm Desert, is currently carrying more than a billion (yes, a billion) dollars in debt and has decided to shut all 450 of their stores down, reports ABC 7.
Fortune points out that the brand may continue online only – like Sharper Image and Linens N Things, but the brick and mortar stores are done.
No word yet on what the closing date will be.
