What the hell happened to Spring? Oh well, maybe next year.
Temperatures on President’s Day were brutal, feeling way more like early Summer rather than Winter, with several records being broken around the southland:
SoCal Record Temps Yesterday!

Palm Springs saw a daytime high temperature of 90 degrees – a whopping 16 degrees warmer than the average high of 74. The heat wave was being felt everywhere, including the Grammy Awards.
“Some folks are walking into the carpet tent with faces glistening from sweat after getting out of limos and waiting in the hot sun to go through security,” the Associated Press reported. “Ladies are discreetly pulling powder puffs out of clutches to pat the sheen away.”
Of course you may have missed it since the local CBS station decided to be the only TV station in SoCal not to show the broadcast live.
And Tuesday promises to be just as hot, if not hotter (with yet more records being broken around Southern California).
Things will cool off a bit during the middle of this week, but then temperatures will shoot right back up again for the weekend.
And at this rate, The Coachella Valley should see its first 100 degree day soon…followed by a 200 degree day in April.
