The Indio music festivals that are Coachella and Stagecoach are becoming known for their surprise guest appearances – and Friday night brought one of the biggest shockers yet: Snoop Dogg. Yes, Snoop performed at Stagecoach.
At the conclusion of Sam Hunt’s set, Snoop, G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha joined him on stage to drink Bud Light, perform (“Me, Myself and I,,”“Next Episode,” & “Drop it Like It’s Hot”), and to promote Bud Light.
There was so much Bud Light:

Yes,it was a very cool moment…

…but, being honest, I still can’t see myself willingly drinking a Bud Light.
Here is some of the performance:
Some other things:
Speaking of Bud Light, the craft beer barn had beer that was not Bud Light! Sure, it was all InBev brews, but hey, it was something.
I am glad I bumped into this guy…
He is, to my surprise, the mascot for Spam – no, not junk email (I think that mascot would look something like this) – rather the canned meat.
Spam was at Stagecoach giving out free food – which, hey, free food. Why not try?
The line was not long at all, even though it was free food. I am guessing because of the whole canned meat thing. I had some sort of Spam sushi – which was, surprisingly, not bad at all.
Lucero played a pretty solid set at the Palomino Stage.

The stage is housed in the structure that was the Sahara tent for Coachella the past two weeks – and if the L.A. Rams are looking for a domed stadium to play in this year, I would recommend it, because that tent is freakin’ huge!
Now on to Day Two.
