Thursday night had the first screenings of the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Last Jedi all across the country. Fans were pretty stoked about this, well except for the ones at a Southern California theater that was experiencing some technical issues.
Video recorded at the AMC in Burbank shows fans screaming, chanting, and just freaking out at theater management to restart the movie after it began without any sound.
Things were so crazy, police were called.
ALERT: Burbank police have been called to the AMC Theaters for a large crowd of people mad that the sound failed in their theater.
You think you have it bad waiting in those long concession stands…

No, seriously.
UPDATE: Police are about to enter Theater 5 at the AMC 16's for an 'uprising'

As the Hollywood Reporter noted, the theater offered theater goers the chance to see it in another theater that wasn’t IMAX or to come back to another screening that was not sold out.
Fans, who bought tickets months ago for opening night, were, understandably not happy:
@AMCTheatres wow opening night showing of Star Wars at AMC Burbank starts without sound for 10min and staff refuses to restart the film! Unbelievably poor customer service!
