A Montana man was arrested for threatening to shoot someone who posted Star Wars: The Force Awakens spoilers on Facebook.
Arthur Charles Roy, 18 of Helena, became (justifiably) enraged when one of his Facebook friends posted a subplot from the new J.J. Abrams flick. That is when, according to court documents, he (unjustifiably) sent the victim a picture of himself with a gun and implied the firearm had a “hair trigger.”
The victim’s school was put on lockdown because of the threat and Roy was arrested. He now faces a felony charge of assault with a weapon.
Police later learned Roy’s weapon was a BB-8 BB gun.
