This Valentine’s Day, Starbucks is inviting coffee lovers to find love inside their stores (well, love of something other than coffee and milk).
On February 13, participating Starbucks locations in The United States will team with Match.com to help people get their romance on Starbucks style.
From from 2pm to close, people can arrange to meet their potential mates at their local Starbucks where they will find romantic music and special menu pairings (and probably some dude stinking up the bathroom…because at Starbucks, there is always some dude stinking up the bathroom).
Customers will also find props on hand to use for photos that can be uploaded to social media under the the hashtag #StarbucksDate (because let’s face it, your newsfeed does not already have enough pictures of Starbucks on it)
‘There’s no better time to celebrate meaningful moments of connection, and encourage new ones, than during Valentine’s Day,’ said Sharon Rothstein, Starbucks global chief marketing officer, in a statement.
The special pairings menu will let customers choose between a Caffé Verona Coffee Press for Two and a Double Chocolate Chunk Brownie, a Tall Flat White and Chocolate Croissant or a Grande Raspberry Mocha or Grande White Chocolate Mocha and a Heart Cookie – all choices for only $5.
