Super Bowl 2018: Where to Watch in Greater Palm Springs

It’s Super Bowl time – which means delicious food, drinks, prizes…oh yeah, I guess there is a game between the Eagles and Patriots and a Justin Timberlake halftime show too.  Here’s what’s happening at bars, restaurants, casinos, and more in Greater Palm Springs.

Babe’s Bar-B-Que & Brewhouse: The Coachella Valley’s oldest micro-brewer will have  their award winning beers on tap for just 5 bucks a pints.  From 2 pm to halftime, Babe’s will have two food specials: you can build you own pizza (unlimited toppings) for only $9 and Babe’s Smok’in Pink Pig Patio Tailgate BBQ – which will include brats, hot links, and foot-long dogs with unlimited  toppings (including onions, bacon bits, mustard, etc.) for only $7.

Stuft Pizza: Tons of TVs throughout the bar and restaurant to watch the game plus beer, pizza, and an extensive menu.  Oh and their rad Happy Hour, yeah, they are doing that from 3 to 6 even though it’s Super Bowl Sunday.

Yardhouse: They will be turning down the classic rock and turning up the volume on the TVs – so you can watch the game, the Justin Timberlake halftime show, and the commercials. They have more than 100 beers on tap, so you will probably find one you like.

Draughtsman:  The Palm Springs spot has plenty of TVs, beers on tap, and a tasty menu.

Playoff’s Sports Bar: $25 gets you lunch and raffle tickets for a chance to win a grill and smoker. Reservations are recommended.

Dringk: The old Fox and Fiddle has a new name, plenty of TVs, and $5 drinks and noms.  For Super Bowl Sunday, they’ll be featuring $4 Bud Light Pints and a huge Biggie Platter for $40 consisting of house made Fried Chicken, Banger Sausages and coleslaw.

Las Casuelas Terraza: Eat up as you get a free app with  the purchase of any drink from the first quarter through half-time at the downtown Palm Springs spot. The restaurant will also be serving up $1 chicharron street tacos and giving away prizes with a raffle.

Burgers and Beer: TV screens everywhere (even in most booths) plus a full menu and plenty of beers on tap.

Plan B: The Thousand Palms joint will have free popcorn, nachos, and hot dogs. There’s also a chance to win a 50 inch flatscreen TV.

Casinos: The Spa Resort Casino will show the game on a 156-inch screen in the lounge and have food and drink specials plus giveaways.  Agua Caliente Casino also has specials on noms and beverages and will be giving  away gift cards and seven Amazon Echos.
