Southern California is known for being the land of high speed police pursuits and Tuesday Palm Springs was host to one.
A little after 8 am, an officer spotted a stolen Toyota Tundra at Sunny Dunes and Sunrise in Palm Springs. The truck took off, but according to police, not for long.
“It lasted about a minute,” Sgt. Harvey Reed told The Desert Sun.
Yup, the car chase took far less time than a TV commercial break or the time it takes you to microwave popcorn.
UPDATE: it may bot have been long, but it did end in a golf course’s lake!
The suspects, a man and woman, fled from the truck and were arrested.
