Highway 74 has reopened after being closed in both directions for two hours on Wednesday morning after a SUZ went over the side and caught fire.
The vehicle went about 50 feet over the side near Vista Point about 5:20 am, according to the Desert Sun. CHP arrived to find it fully engulfed in flames. The driver of the car was not found at the scene.
Fire crews extinguished the blazed by 7 am, but the lanes remained closed while crews pulled what remained of the car back to the road.
All lanes were open again by 7:30 am.
