Looks like Two Buck Chuck is getting a little competition.
Target will starting slingin’ their own cheap wine this weekend at the 1,100 of its stores that sell booze. The vino, dubbed California Roots, will include five varieties: a red blend, Cabernet, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Moscato, notes Food & Wine.
“We’re out to give our guests even more reasons to love Target—including exclusive products they can’t find anywhere else,” Target’s senior vice president of food and beverage said in a statement. “And we think they’re going to love California Roots—these wines are just the right blend of incredible quality and amazing value that guests can only get at Target.”

And while the wine is going to cost you a bit more than Trader Joe’s Charles Shaw, it won’t get you that stink eye when you bring it as your host gift – which might be worth the extra couple of bucks.
