Day 3 of The Coachella Music and Arts Festival had a surprise in store for attendees – which was immediately spoiled by reporters from The Desert Sun.
The first two days saw a giant caterpillar around The Empire Polo Club – but, the art installation was replaced on Sunday with something else. The Desert Sun posted about the change just after the gates opened.

Some commenting were not happy. Comments included, “Thanks for wrecking it as soon as the gates open” and “Maybe try putting your phone down and living the moment”.
The newspaper replied with, “Sorry to spoil the surprise . We were just so excited we had to share!”
Be sure not to invite anyone from The Desert Sun to a surprise party or ask about current movies.
