Desert X 2019 runs from Palm Springs to the Salton Sea (with many spots in the Coachella Valley in between) from February 9 through April 21. Below is info for Halter and you can catch all the info you need for every Desert X installation in our complete guide here.
What: Halter
Artist: Eric N. Mack
Where: Grapefruit Blvd. & Vander Veer Road
Update 3/11: Halter has suddenly disappeared.
Note: if you are looking to avoid Desert X “spoilers” stop reading here. If not, carry on.
The Lowdown: Not too far away from A Point of View, one of the must-see Desert X installations, and the International Banana Museum (yes, you read that right) is Halter – in which New York-based artist Mack takes a defunct gas station at the edge of the Salton Sea and reframes it with silks and tulles.

I really don’t have much more to add on this one. Check it out and let’s discuss in the comments.
