
Fire crews, who had battled a fire at a Desert Hot Springs residence Wednesday afternoon, were called back to the same home six hours later as the structure caught fire again.
Cal Fire responded to the first report of a fire on United Street at around 12:30 pm.

22 firefighters were able to contain the fire in about 30 minutes. The home sustained $100,000 in damages.
About 6:30 pm, fire crews were called out again to fight a blaze at the same home.

The fire was contained a little before 8 pm.
No word on what caused either of the fires.
