With just about a month to go before the November midterm elections, California reached an all-time high in people registered to vote.
According to the San Luis Obispo Tribune, more than 19 million Californians are now registered to vote as of September 7 – which makes up about 76% of all residents.
Broken down by party, California’s party registration currently breaks down like this:
- 43.8 percent are Democrats
- 24.5 percent are Republicans
- 26.8 percent declined to state a party preference
If you are not registered, you have until October 22 to do so. You can get all the info you need to do that here.
