So, I guess all the other promoters out there were just waiting for Coachella to end, because this weekend, there are a ton of festivals going on around Southern California with everything from country to reggae to hip hop.
Here’s a rundown of six festivals happening throughout Southern California, listed in no particular order:
Stagecoach Country Music Festival
Weekend Three of Festival Season in Indio will see Garth Brooks and a bunch of performers who are not Garth Brooks performing for a lot of people drinking Bud Light at the Empire Polo Club. Three-day passes are still available and will set you back $350.
Back to the Beach Festival
311, Sublime with Rome, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and more will perform KROQ’s two-day fest happening in Huntington Beach on Saturday and Sunday. A one-day pass will set you back $60 and two day GA tickets are $100.
Art Walk San Diego
San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood will play host to music, visual and performing arts, and interpretive art experiences on Saturday and Sunday. It’s free to check out.
The White Party
It’s the largest gay dance party in the World. The event runs Thursday through Sunday and features DJs, live performances, pool parties and headliner Kylie Minogue performing on Sunday.
Kaya Fest
If you love reggae and you don’t mind the short drive to the IE, Kaya Fest is for you. The two-day event at the NOS Event Center Saturday and Sunday has Stephen, Ziggy, and Damien Marley performing along with Lauren Hill, Cypress Hills, and more. One day passes start at $65. Two day passes being at $125.
The Smoker’s Club
Wiz Khalifa, Schoolboy Q, 2 Chainz, and more perform the two-day event Saturday and Sunday on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Single day passes are $150 and two day GA are $300.
