It appears that like Desert Trip, the Desert Oasis Music Festival may end up being a one-time only concert.
Promoters of the October music festival, held at the Empire Polo Club, issued a press release today announcing the festival will not be happening in 2018, but might return sometime in the future:
Due to the timing and implementation of venue improvements and construction that would affect the event experience, it is with regret that Empire Music Ventures has decided to cancel the Desert Oasis Music Festival that was scheduled for Oct. 2018. We anticipate that Desert Oasis Music Festival will return in the future.
Promoters did note that the Rhythm, Wine & Brews Experience will definitely return – with a date you can ink in your calendar: Saturday, March 2, 2019.
