You might want to check those wiper blades and hold off on getting your car washed as it sure looks like rain is headed to Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley this week.
Forecasters are calling for a storm to roll into Southern California on Wednesday, giving the desert a chance of showers through Thursday (and even a chance for snow in the mountains!).

And it looks like it’s a really good chance (90-100% according to forecasters) and it will be more than just a couple of sprinkles.

Luckily, it does appear the rain will move out in time for all the tree lighting ceremonies this coming weekend around the Coachella Valley and the Festival of Lights parade in Palm Springs.
