The Coachella Valley could see some rain next week

Summer is off the a hell of a start in the Coachella Valley. Already we have seen record high temperatures, and now those thunderstorms we usually get in late July and August have a chance to hit us while it is still June.   How wonderful.

Local 2 weather guesser calls next week’s weather a “monsoonal surge” – which I am definitely naming my band – that will bring heat, a chance of some rain (afternoons on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), and (ugh!) humidity to the Coachella Valley.

And while any rain during the drought would be welcome, the humidity that comes with it is another story:
