I know there is plenty going on at the Date Festival – live performances, donuts the size of your head, hurl-inducing rides, cinnamon rolls, beer, and vendors selling anything and everything – but, for my money, the best thing at the fair as the comically large stuffed animal prizes.
The carnival games area is littered with these things and, seriously, it’s the best – and why? Well…
Yes, enjoy your gigantic prize, sir. Now try to carry this huge freakin’ thing around a crowded fairground the rest of the night.
I would watch a show about people who win these things, carry them all around, somehow fit them in their car, and then try to find a place for them at their home – so maybe get on that, Bravo or whatever that channel that carries Jon Taffer’s show is called now.
