Police arrested three juveniles after they the trio vanilized and burglarized La Quinta High School and were involved in two other thefts on area businesses.
La Quinta Police Department responded to a report of multiple alarms at the High School on Blackhawk Way about 3:15 am Tuesday, according to a news release. Officers saw that multiple buildings at the school were vandalized and burglarized. The campus was searched but no suspects were found.
The search area was expanded and officers located three male juveniles in the area of Highway 111 and Dune Palms Road. Police say the juveniles were in possession of stolen property from the high school and other items that connected them to earlier reported thefts from two La Quinta area businesses earlier that day.
All three juveniles were arrested and booked for burglary and vandalism.
