Two shootings resulted in three being people shot on Christmas Day in the Coachella Valley.

At about 4 pm, a man was shot on Illinois Avenue in Palm Desert, reports The Desert Sun. He was taken to a hospital and his condition is not known.

Later, two men were shot in the area of John Nobles Avenue and Monroe Street in Indio a little before, according to KESQ.

The shooting happened at about 9:30 pm and the  two men were hospitalized.

Police were looking for suspects who they believe were driving a gray or black pickup truck.

There was also no information released about the condition of the victims of the Indio shooting.
