The evil empire that is the Time Warner Cable customer service department has struck again. The company, which was recently rated as the most hated company in America, sent a letter to Orange County resident Esperanza Martinez in which they renamed her “Cunt Martinez”. Stay classy Time Warner.
Ars Technica posted the entire letter to Martinez:
Time Warner admits that one of its reps actually changed Martinez’s first name to “Cunt” in the company’s computer system. Martinez also says that she was just looking to get her cable box fixed, not cancel her service (which Time Warner stated in the letter).
Time Warner has since sent Martinez an apology and a year of free service.
