Gas prices are low (good) and with it, more people plan to travel over the Christmas-New Year’s Holiday (bad…for traffic anyway).

The Automobile Club of Southern California predicts more than 7.57 million SoCal residents will travel 50 miles or more during the holiday travel period (Dec. 23 through Jan. 4). That’s the most since 2001 and an increase of 3.2 percent over 2013.

So where is everyone going? Here are the Top 5 places according to AAA:

1) Las Vegas – nothing more joyous and festive than hundreds of people handing you flyers for hookers everywhere you go
2) San Francisco – Rice-a-Roni is not really a thing people eat here
3) San Diego – who needs snow when you have 75 degrees!
4) Grand Canyon – “Ok…let’s go”
5) Anaheim – Mickey knows how to do the Holidays

Wherever your holiday travels take you, have fun, drive safe, and be ready for tons of traffic.
