A man was arrested after police say he hurled a knife at an employee of a Home Depot in Encinitas on Friday.
A witness told 10 News that a man was driving like a maniac through the parking lot and was being yelled at by various shoppers.
That man, 34-year-old Sean Burton, then stopped his car in front of the garden section, got out of his ride, and threw a knife at an employee who was watering plants.
Luckily, an off-duty paramedic was there to treat the employee who had a minor wound with bleeding. The victim was later taken to a local hospital, treated, and released, reports the LA Times.
Police arrived and chased Burton into the store where he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
