Trader Joe’s – a grocery store that sells Cookie Butter, Two Buck Chuck and, I am told, other products as well – is turning 50 this weekend and that means tastings, giveaways, and specials for you.
The chain, which launched on August 25, 1967 in Pasadena now has 467 stores throughout the country. Amazingly, every single one of them has a terrible parking lot. Fact.
Every store in the chain is slated to do in-store parties on August 19 and 20 to celebrate the occasion with each offering up a limited-edition 50th Anniversary reusable bag for only 50 cents.
