Trader Joes recalled almost a dozen products Sunday because they may contain a bacteria known to cause food poisoning.
As of Sunday, no one had been reported sick, but the following products may contain listeria monocytogenes (whatever that is):
Sold Individually June 2 through July 18th:
- Organic White Nectarine
- Organic Yellow Nectarine
- White Nectarine
- Yellow Nectarine
- Organic Yellow Peach
- White Peach
- Yellow Peach
- Organic Dapple Dandy Plumcot
- Plum
Sold in four-pound boxes on June 2nd through July 19th (Julian Date Codes of 153 through 193):
- Trader Joe’s Peaches four-pound box
- Trader Joe’s Nectarines four-pound box
Customers can return them to their local Trader Joes store for a refund.
And you know what was not recalled?
Cookie Butter. So to be safe (and healthy), let’t all just eat cookie butter from now on!
