I really do not want to give too much attention to this, for fear of jinxing it for everyone, but the long range weather forecast shows that temperatures might finally drop under 100 degrees for the first time in a long time.
Seriously, look from next Wednesday forward on The Weather Channel’s forecast for Palm Desert (then do not speak of it so we don’t ruin it):
Of course, weather forecasts always can change. That is why the weather guesser on the TV news gives a new 5-day forecast every night. If they were truly accurate, they would just give one on Monday and go home for the rest of the week.
But for now, it looks like there is some good news on the way after a hot, humid, and ridiculous summer in The Coachella Valley.
