Forget wearing that nice sweater to Thanksgiving in the Coachella Valley – it looks like it’s going to be more of a shorts and t-shirt kind of a day.
Temperatures are going to rise throughout the week and will hit above 90 degrees on Thursday.
Your Thanksgiving Forecast!
Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley will experience unseasonably warm weather and sunny skies with high temperatures running about 15-degrees above those late-November norms.@KESQ pic.twitter.com/f43yMViUsx— Jerry Steffen™ KESQ (@JerrySteffen) November 20, 2017
That’s about 15 degrees above normal for this time of year in the desert.
And while that may mean you have to turn on the air conditioning again in order not to roast your guests, it also means that you can now escape any awkward conversation with your family buy just jumping into the pool and perhaps just staying there until everyone leaves.
