Twentynine Palms man arrested, accused of assaulting a first responder

Police arrested a Twentynine Palms man on Saturday after he allegedly attacked a paramedic.

Police were called to Oasis Avenue about 6:15 pm. When they arrived, a woman told them that Troy Plummer, 21, was had just dragged her out of her car during an argument, according to Z107.7. The woman said that Plummer had been high on meth for days and had cut his own neck with a knife. The woman also told officials to use caution as she claimed that he had previously attacked a police officer in Arizona.

The police report did not contain details about the attack Saturday night, but Plummer was arrested for investigation of assault on a paramedic
