Two men were arrested and a Bed Bath & Beyond had to be fumigated after police say they had sex on one of the store’s display beds.
An employee of the store, located in New Jersey, saw the men “engaged in a sex act” and called police, reports The Record.
One of the men was found to be infected with scabies, which is highly contagious. Due to the infection, the officers had to be checked out at the hospital and the entire Bed Bath and Beyond store had to be fumigated.
The bed was “immediately pulled from the floor and discarded,” according to a release from the store.
The names of the 28-year-old men were not released as their identities are protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) due to their medical condition.
