
A woman who was angry that T-Mobile wouldn’t repair her cracked iPhone screen drove her SUV into the store on Thursday.
Shinobia Wright caused $30,000 in damage to the Palm Springs store – no, not the Palm Springs in the desert, the one in Florida – and one employee of the store was hospitalized with an injury.
Witnesses told WPBF that they woman got out of the SUV and smashed stuff up in the store with a broken window frame.
The Palm Beach Post reports that Wright was upset because the store told her she would have to pay to repair a cracked iPhone screen even through she claimed to have insurance on the phone. She told police that she was having a “bad day.”
Wright, 26, is facing charges of aggravated battery, battery, burglary, criminal mischief over $1,000 and reckless driving.
